Are you familiar with this traditional Southern saying? On Christmas Eve my mother typically would call and she'd try to be the first to say, "Christmas Eve Gift!". And according to the tradition, I'd need to give her a small gift, or vice versa if I were the one to say it first to her. I love it as the title for this little bird family painting because of the various interpretations you can ascribe to it.
This is an original acrylic painting on ceramic ornament with metallic gold-colored filigree crown. Rich red velvet ribbon for hanging. Design is on both sides of the ornament. Approximately 3" in diameter.
Signed and dated 2020 on bottom of the artwork.
